Welcome to Casa de la Asunción, is a beautiful property from the 16th century, where its wide spaces and elegant details, characteristic of the time; make it the perfect place for your visit.
Its unbeatable location in the heart of the historic center of the green Antequera; (named for its beautiful green quarry constructions) puts it in the perfect starting point for anywhere you want to visit.
CASA DE LA ASUNCION is named as a tribute to the central image of the Cathedral of the city of Oaxaca, this is the seat of the Archdiocese of Antequera. Its construction began in 1535, and the temple was consecrated on July 12, 1733.
In the central patio is CERRO HUMO, an international-comfortable food restaurant, with an Oaxacan touch, dishes that you will not try anywhere else.
Passing this courtyard is the "SALA ELIA", a projection room, where AMBULANTE has passed, the largest documentary film festival in Mexico and a unique exhibition space in the world. Going up a beautiful staircase carved in green stone and framed by a monumental mirror of 9 pieces, the 6 comfortable rooms that will host you are located.

Environmentally friendly, we strive to make changes, what Although they seem small they are of great help to our planet:
so our toilets are water saving, we change bed linen and towels preferably every 4 or 5 days to save water, since the city has long and severe periods of low water, however we respect the wishes of our guests for additional changes .
Our lighting is also friendly to the planet and we try to recycle plastic and glass as much as possible.
